EPSILOON

The goal of the Epsiloon app redesign is to bring the mobile app up to the same standards as the magazine.

Beyond the visual overhaul, the redesign also simplifies navigation and everyday use. Readers should be able to reach the issues they want faster, find the options they're looking for where they expect them, and move through the app more clearly. The redesign also adds the brand products the app was missing, such as podcasts.

Everything  can be explored in the interactive Figma prototype

NAVIGATION

The current app's navigation is slow and tedious, full of menus and submenus.
My first step was to remove as much of that friction as possible by cutting down the number of pages, menus and submenus

VISUAL

Next, I aligned the mobile app with Epsiloon's visual identity. That meant more careful use of icons and pictograms, the brand's textured patterns, and above all its iconic yellow.

CONTENT

Finally, I made content easier to access. I added a way to subscribe directly from the app, along with a Podcast page that the original app didn't have
